Steam Railway*. The Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Steam Railway
is the world’s smallest public railway. Built in 1926, this 13 mile

“American style” locomotives. Reopened by Laural & Hardy in 1947.

b) City of
Colchester - Mentioned as early as 79AD, and the roman capital of
Briton, Colchester(Camulodunum) has a lot to offer. With it's ancient
castle, it has been a main cloth town and was heavily fought over in
the English Civil War (1648). In Victorian times it often led the way
in Architecture, and is famous for having a massive public water tower!
In modern times Colchester has become less important in society, but
definitely remains a worthwhile visit simply because of it's long
history. (Colchester does however still have some modern
ground-braking amenities at night for the locals, ask your guide for

d) Constable
Country - Dedham, Flatford Mill and the beautiful River Stour has
hardly altered since England's' greatest landscape painter, John
Constable, captured the surrounding countryside in his paintings in the

1776) was an English Romantic painter whose art now adorns the National
